You have about 6 times the free disk space available than I do,
I just can download about 12 Gigs of stuff in around 3-4 nights on a standard high speed connection.
split the files into 3 directories of around 4 gigs each.

Afterwards it takes me about 4 hours of time to burn/verify 3 data DVDs. (you may have access to better hardware and higher recording speed media making this step faster)

Last step is deleting the files from HD so I can repeat procedure.

CDs would be a problem for me especially if I have to split the large files to make them fit.
The feature films are 3-4 gigs each for example.
I always download the higher quality mpeg2 versions.
